GUIDE · EMAIL DNS
SPF, DKIM and DMARC change monitoring.
A changed SPF include or a removed DMARC record rarely announces itself. It shows up later as mail landing in spam. Domain Watch records the email DNS of each domain daily and emails you when it changes.
What is checked
- SPF — the published record, compared with the previous check.
- DMARC — the policy record at
_dmarc. - DKIM — the selectors the checker discovers for the domain. Selectors it cannot discover are not covered.
- Nameservers — a change of DNS provider is reported as its own event.
What you receive
Each change becomes an event with the old and new value, sent to your alert address and kept in the dashboard history. A weekly digest lists the week's events, grouped by domain, and says "all quiet" when there were none.
Who it is for
Agencies managing client domains and IT teams who need to know when someone else edited DNS: a new marketing tool, a registrar move or a cleanup that removed a record still in use.
What it does not do
Domain Watch reports changes; it does not grade your records, fix them or send test emails. Checks run daily, so a change appears within about a day rather than instantly.
