Terms of service.

1. The service

Domain Watch monitors the domains you add for: domain registration expiry, TLS certificate expiry, email DNS records (SPF, DKIM selectors and DMARC), nameserver changes, and new hostnames found in public certificate-transparency logs. Checks run on a daily schedule. They are not continuous.

Domain Watch does not renew domains, change DNS or certificates, install certificates, scan for vulnerabilities, test security, act as an uptime monitor, or guarantee the security of any system. Its results do not replace a professional audit.

Results depend on public data sources. If a source is unavailable, the affected check is shown as incomplete rather than as passed.

2. Accounts and license keys

A subscription is validated with Polar and gives you a license key. Keep the key confidential. You are responsible for activity made with your key.

3. Plans and renewals

Starter costs $25 per month for up to 100 domains. Agency costs $79 per month for up to 500 domains. Polar is the Merchant of Record and handles checkout, tax, invoices and receipts. Subscriptions renew monthly until cancelled.

You can cancel in the Polar customer portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and access continues until then. Refunds are described in our Refund Policy.

4. Acceptable use

Only add domains you own or are authorized to monitor. Do not use the service to harass anyone, to overload the service or the public sources it queries, or to try to access data that is not yours.

5. No warranty

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, including fitness for a particular purpose and uninterrupted operation.

6. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months before the claim.

7. Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows the latest version. Continued use after an update means you accept it.
